Peter Meister studied „Cultural Studies and Aesthetic Practice“ with a supplementary degree in „Cultural Policy in International Comparison“ at the University of Hildesheim. He worked for several years as a student assistant at the Center for World Music in PR and public relations as well as in digitization in the project „Music as a store of knowledge in museal practice“ and at the Institute for Cultural Policy in the team of the „Arts Rights Justice Academy & Forum“.
Since 2022, Peter Meister has been studying the part-time Master’s programme „musik.welt – Cultural Diversity in Music Education“.
After activities at the Goethe-Institut in Jordan and in the cultural and creative industries, he has been working as a project assistant at the SDG Graduate School Performing Sustainability since January 2024.

Peter Meister studierte „Kulturwissenschaften und ästhetische Praxis“ mit einem Zusatzabschluss in „Kulturpolitik im internationalen Vergleich“ an der Universität Hildesheim. Er war über viele Jahre als studentische Hilfskraft am Center for World Music in der PR- und Öffentlichkeitsarbeit sowie bei der Digitalisierung im Projekt „Wissensspeicher Musik in der musealen Praxis“ und am Institut für Kulturpolitik im Team der „Arts Rights Justice Academy & Forum“ beschäftigt.
Seit 2022 studiert Peter Meister den berufsbegleitenden Masterstudiengang „musik.welt – Kulturelle Diversität in der musikalischen Bildung“.
Nach Stationen am Goethe-Institut in Jordanien und Beschäftigungen in der Kultur-und Kreativwirtschaft übernahm er im Januar 2024 die Projektassistenz in der SDG Graduate School Performing Sustainability.
