Biography

Lea Frauenknecht studied the binational double bachelor’s degree “German-French Literary and Cultural Studies” at the “Freie Universität Berlin” and the “Université Sorbonne Nouvelle” in Paris from 2016 to 2019. After a stay as a foreign language assistant of the Pedagogical Exchange Service in Higher Education in Montréal, Québec, she studied from 2020 at the University of Hildesheim as well as at the Aix-Marseille Université the German-French double master’s degree “Cultural Mediation” with an artistic focus on literature, which she completed in 2022. At the same time, she worked as a student assistant in the Green Office of the University of Hildesheim. Since November 2022, she has been project coordinator of the DAAD Research Training Group “Performing Sustainability. Cultures and Development in West-Africa” at the Department for cultural politics at the University of Hildesheim.
