Das Kolloquium Elektronische Musikpraxis hat in diesem Semester die Künstlerin/Musikerin Leyla Yenirce zu Gast. Sie wird ihr neues Album vorstellen, dass sie als Rosaceae in diesem Jahr veröffentlichen wird, begleitend zu einem eigenen Ausstellungsprojekt. Im Anschluss gibt es einen ausufernden Austausch über ihre künstlerische Praxis.

Yenirce has been described as a cultural theorist, filmmaker, musician, painter, performer and installation artist, essentially combining all of the aforementioned mediums in her artistic practice. "Rosaceae is a music project by Leyla Yenirce that explores figurations of resistance and sonic aspects of military, media and cultural structures of dominance. Rosaceae works with elements of noise and ambient music, drawing on speech samples as well as self-penned texts. Rosaceae's works include audiovisual and performative elements."
