Dr. Lorena Grigoletto

Lorena Grigoletto holds a PhD in Philosophy from the University of Naples Federico II and the University of Seville. Since 2019, she has taught Semiotics of Art at the Academy of Fine Arts in Naples, and since 2022 she has directed a research programme at the Collège International de Philosophie in Paris. She has carried out research and collaborative projects with several international institutions, including UNAM (Mexico City), the University of Tübingen, and the University of Seville. She is the author of numerous articles, primarily in the field of Latin American and Spanish philosophy, and of the monograph Lógoi. Sul sentiero “orfico-pitagorico” di María Zambrano (2022; Lógoi. On the “Orphic-Pythagorean” Path of María Zambrano). Her recent research focuses on the relationship between representations of nature and the postcolonial collective imaginary – particularly in Latin America – as well as on the links between environmental aesthetics, especially forest aesthetics, and urban design. She has also worked on the relationship between philosophy and fairy tales and on creative writing practices.

In addition to her teaching and research activities, Grigoletto is a member of the editorial boards of Rocinante.
