Bio
Bado Ndoye is a philosopher specializing in phenomenology, epistemology, and the history of science. He teaches philosophy at Cheikh Anta Diop University in Dakar and serves as the General Inspector of Philosophy and Editor-in-Chief of the Revue sénégalaise de philosophie. His recent research explores a range of topics, including the societal impact of the digital revolution, the history of sciences, Husserlian phenomenology, and African philosophy.
Ndoye is the author of Paulin Hountondji: Leçons de philosophie africaine (2022) and has published numerous articles, such as Phénoménologie de l’expérience: éthique et rationalité logique chez Husserl (2021) and Anthropocène et crise sanitaire: pour une nouvelle philosophie de la nature (2021). His work has also appeared in The Routledge Handbook of Phenomenology and Philosophical Phenomenology. He is an active thesis supervisor and contributes significantly to the academic discourse on African philosophy and phenomenology in West Africa.
