Determination and Indetermination in Philosophy

Research Talk with Katrin Wille

We invited Katrin Wille from the Insitute of Philosophy at Hildesheim University to talk with us about her current focus on “Indeterminacy Research”, the the role of the concept of indeterminacy for philosophy, different approaches to indeterminacy in Pragmatism, Hegel, New Phenomenology and other disciplines, the importance of anchoring theoretical considerations in concrete, embodied practices, and possible consequences of categorial indetermination and non-hierarchical distinction-making for philosophy as an academic institution and for us as a research team.
