Subject: Interdisciplinary Perspectives on Hate Speech: The International Perspective (IPHSE II)

Info: In the second part of the IPHSE conference series, we will extend the interdisciplinary discussion of online hate speech to an international perspective. We therefore invite researchers from Germany and abroad to present their research on online hate speech in the fields of Linguistics, Computational Linguistics, Information Science and Political Science. Together, we would like to discuss topics like the description of hate speech as well as its regulation. Automatic detection systems play an important role in the regulation of hate speech online, and there has been an increasing need for more powerful, but at the same time also more transparent systems (XAI).
