Topic: Data Sharing and Replications in Economics
Info: The sustainability of research data, the sharing of research data or the publication of data sets are becoming increasingly important. Journals often require that publications of the underlying data of an article are made available. Universities, including the University of Hildesheim, are adopting Research Data Policies, and researchers are discussing both the opportunities and the risks of „Open Data“, the challenges of data protection and research ethics.
Annette Strauch from the University Library of Hildesheim gives a brief overview of the topic of research data management. In addition, the range of services offered by the university library in relation to e-science support services will be presented.
Registration for the Coffee Lectures is not necessary.
