Research Interests

Classroom discourse with particular focus on teacher talk and its impact on the teaching/ learning environment, reflective practice in initial TESOL teacher education and continuous professional development of TESOL teachers, TESOL teaching methodologies, corpus linguistics and discourse analysis approaches to the study of classroom talk.
