Dr Ceren Kasım is a lawyer, researcher, and consultant currently serving as a postdoctoral research and teaching fellow at the University of Hildesheim. Holding a Ph.D. from the University of Göttingen and a master's degree from Humboldt University of Berlin, she also earned an undergraduate degree in Law from Ankara University and is a qualified attorney-at-law. Dr Kasım 's research has been recognised through various grants and scholarships, including prestigious awards from the Hans Böckler Foundation, the Turkish Programme for the Promotion of Young Gifted Researchers, as well as the DAAD and ISLSSL grants. Her research covers a wide range of legal topics such as the theory of law, international law, human rights, labour, anti-discrimmination and comparative law. Dr Kasim has made significant contributions through her publications on issues including human rights in the workplace, discrimination protection, remote work, and gender-based violence.
Dr. Ceren Kasım ist Juristin, Forscherin und Beraterin und arbeitet derzeit als Postdoktorandin und wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin in Lehre und Forschung an der Universität Hildesheim. Sie promovierte an der Universität Göttingen und erwarb einen Master-Abschluss an der Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. Außerdem hat sie einen Bachelor-Abschluss in Rechtswissenschaften an der Universität Ankara erworben und ist als Rechtsanwältin zugelassen. Dr. Kasım`s Forschung wurde durch verschiedene Stipendien anerkannt, darunter renommierte Preise der Hans-Böckler-Stiftung, des türkischen Programms zur Förderung junger begabter Forscher sowie DAAD- und ISLSSL-Stipendien. Ihre Forschung umfasst ein breites Spektrum juristischer Themen wie Rechtstheorie, Völkerrecht, Menschenrechte, Arbeitsrecht, Antidiskriminierungsrecht und Rechtsvergleichung. Dr. Kasım hat mit ihren Veröffentlichungen zu Themen wie Menschenrechte am Arbeitsplatz, Diskriminierungsschutz, Remote-Work, und genderspezifische Gewalt wichtige Beiträge geleistet.
