The aim of the project is to integrate the subject of multilingualism in its multi-layered theoretical, intercultural and pedagogical-didactic dimensions into the teacher education curriculum and thus make a contribution to the internationalization of teacher education. Translang² is made possible by funding from the DAAD's “Lehramt.International - Model Projects at Universities” program.

Below we have compiled background information on multilingualism in the classroom and on translanguaging as a teaching approach for more equality in education. On these pages, you will also find a presentation of our project activities for preservice teachers, teaching faculty/researchers and other interested stakeholders.
