Study quality funds (Studienqualitätsmittel)
Process description (you need your "RZ-Kennung"): Applications to the Central Study Quality Fund Commission ("Studienqualitätsmittelkommission").
Project applications can be submitted to the Central Study Quality Fund Commission (KfS) until 10 November 2017. There are still funds in the innovation pool for the summer semester.
For applications, please use the application form (doc) and take note of the guideline for granting study quality funds ("Richtlinie zur Gewährung von Studienqualitätsmitteln"). Only projects that are cross-departmental are eligible for funding.
Note: All projects financed by the KfS must be concluded with a report and an evaluation. Follow-up applications will only be accepted with an evaluation report of the previously funded measure.
What are study quality funds ("Studienqualitätsmittel")?
Simultaneously with the abolition of tuition fees, the study quality funds were introduced in the winter semester 2014/15 (§ 14 of the Lower Saxony Higher Education Act). The contributions will be used to improve the quality of teaching and study conditions.
The use of the funds is decided by the Central Study Quality Fund Commission (central funds) and the study commissions (decentral funds) in agreement with the Presidium.
