Erfahrungsberichte Austauschstudierende
“My time in Hildesheim is a chapter that will remain etched in my memory forever. I’m taking away much more than just academic growth; I will carry with me for the rest of my life the opportunity I was given, the knowledge I gained, the invaluable experiences of living in Germany, the true friendships I formed during this journey, and the unforgettable trips we took.”

“Spending a year on Erasmus at the University of Hildesheim offered so many wonderful opportunities: discovering the German educational system; taking a variety of courses such as philosophy, theater, ceramics, and sports...; having full access to the city by bike and great connections to Hamburg and Berlin! Even though Hildesheim is a small city, there are a large number of students, and it’s impossible to get bored thanks to the many cultural organizations, events, and wonderful access to nature. Throughout my entire stay, I received excellent assistance with administrative procedures and plenty of advice, which helped me settle in quickly. ”
Lucine TOUSSAINT (Summer Semester 2026)
“The study experience was both interesting and challenging. Overall, the professors taught their courses very well. I always felt supported by them, and I truly appreciate that. In addition to my studies at the university, I had plenty of time to travel and have fun with my new international friends. Those four months flew by, but they left me with new memories and valuable experiences. There aren’t enough words to describe how grateful I am to have ended up here and to have gone through all the challenges and happy moments at the same time. Thank you so much for such a wonderful opportunity!”
Uliana Korenskykh (Summer Semester 2026)
“The decision to participate in the Erasmus+ exchange program at the University of Hildesheim was truly one I do not regret at all. This summer semester was an unforgettable journey, filled with diverse people, new experiences, and many precious memories. I had the best time here, and I am truly grateful for the opportunity to study in an international environment, meet people from different cultures, and grow both as a person and as a professional in my field. ”
