Services and support
Among other things, we offer:
- Information on current calls for proposals
- Advice on suitable funders and funding programmes
- Advice on cross-cutting aspects of proposals (beyond the discipline-specific content)
- Strategic feedback on proposals in the role of a “critical friend”
- Review of application documents to ensure formal compliance and quality
- Coordination of internal university procedures
- Support for postdocs in acquiring third-party funding
- Support in revising proposals that were initially unsuccessful (e.g. DFG)
- Events and workshops on funding opportunities and funding programmes
- Administration/management of EU-funded projects (Horizon Europe, Erasmus+ Cooperation Partnerships)
- A point of contact for collaborations and knowledge transfer
EU funding
In the area of European research funding, Research and Transfer Services works in tandem with the EU Liaison Office Hannover/Hildesheim, the central point of contact for researchers planning European and international projects.
