Thank you for finding your way to these pages. Our university can now look back on an eventful history of 75 years. It all began with the teacher training college in Alfeld and then developed further at the new location on the Marienburger Höhe in Hildesheim. Today, our foundation university has over 8,000 students and over 100 professors - to name just two key figures. We are proud of our history and proud of our development As alumni, you are part of this history and we would be delighted if we could stay in touch. Obituary – In memory of Prof. em. Dr. Ernst Cloer
The University of Hildesheim mourns the loss of its former rector Prof. em. Dr. Ernst Cloer. He was a professor in Hildesheim from 1977 to 2004 and served as rector of the University of Hildesheim from 1989 to 1991.
