What’s next? New perspectives on (early) childhood education and care
Eine international besetzte Online-Vortragsreihe mit neuen Perspektiven auf die (früh)kindliche Bildung, Betreuung und Erziehung
Im internationalen Kontext zeigen sich vielfältige Diskurse zur Bildung, Betreuung und Erziehung von Kindern. Dies ist auch bedingt durch differente historische Entwicklungslinien, sozial- und bildungspolitische Rahmungen und Organisationsstrukturen. Zugleich lassen sich auf der Ebene fachwissenschaftlicher Diskurse Gemeinsamkeiten feststellen. Vor diesem Hintergrund lädt die internationale Vortragsreihe Forschende dazu ein, aktuelle Forschungsschwerpunkte und Ansätze zur (früh)kindlichen Bildung, Betreuung und Erziehung vorzustellen und darüber ins Gespräch zu kommen. Die Vortragsreihe möchte neue Perspektiven aufzeigen und gegenwärtige Debatten der Kindheitsforschung und Pädagogik der frühen Kindheit bereichern.
Die fortlaufend konzipierte Veranstaltungsreihe wird veranstaltet vom Kompetenzzentrum Frühe Kindheit Niedersachsen der Universität Hildesheim, dem Forschungszentrum Kindheiten.Gesellschaften der Bergischen Universität Wuppertal und dem Institut für Theorie und Empirie des Sozialen (ITES).
An international online lecture series with new perspectives on (early) childhood education and care
Internationally, the discourses on childhood education and care are diverse. This is due to varying historical developments, organizational structures, as well as social and educational policy frameworks. Still, similarities can be found on a scientific discourse level. In this context, the international lecture series invites researchers to present and discuss current research approaches concerning (early) childhood education and care with the aim to provide new perspectives and enrich prevailing debates in childhood studies.
The lecture series is hosted by the Research Center for Early Childhood in Lower Saxony (University of Hildesheim), the Interdisciplinary Research Center Childhoods.Societies (University of Wuppertal) an the Institute for Theory and Empiricism of Social Questions (ITES)
