In addition to my work as artist and designer, I have been a research associate at the research group “Aesthetic Practice” at the University of Hildesheim since April 2025. Here, I am currently researching autofiction in contemporary filmmaking as an aesthetic approach to connect to an unavailable and traumatic past. Starting with works from the post-war period, I also focus on visual representations of history and forms of historiography in contemporary art, especially in digital and ephemeral media.
My background in Fine Arts (M.F.A., Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design Jerusalem) and Visual Communications (B.A., University of the Arts Berlin) continuously informs my writing, curatorial, and artistic practice. Further research interests include queer studies, collective memory, and critical theory at the intersection of Europe and the Middle East.
