In addition to my doctoral research at the University of Hildesheim on the artistic practice and craftmanship in scenography and costume design, I work as a scenographer and costume designer. I work theoretically and practically with matter and objects, textures and texts in the performing arts, among others at HAU Berlin, Staatstheater Hannover, Theater Dortmund, Sophiensaele Berlin, Národní divadlo Brno, National Theatre of Namibia.
As co-author of the publication ‘Szenografie und Kostüm in den Freien Darstellenden Künsten - Handreichung für eine erfolgreiche Zusammenarbeit’ (2025) by the association SK Freie Szene e.V., I am committed to improving working conditions in the field.

Since 2016, I have been researching (theoretically and artistically) the narrative potential of matter - especially stones, sand, earth and their accumulations - in the context of relational theories of space. The starting point is material traces and formations whose stories unfold over geological time periods and are inscribed in global contexts such as tectonic shifts, landscape changes and climatic dynamics.
Between 2018 and 2024, I conducted an archival research on circus buildings, stage technology and the working practices of artists in Berlin around 1900, the results of which are published in the book "Zirkuskunst in Berlin um 1900 - Einblicke in eine vergessene Praxis" (2024) and in the article "Streiflichter auf Künstlerinnen* der Berliner Zirkus- und Varietészene um 1900" (2023).
As a consulting artist for the Digitale Archiv der Freien Darstellenden Künste e.V., I develop workshop and discussion formats that invite people to explore methods archiving for their own practice and relate them to existing archives, historical sources and institutional practices.
