In the academic year of 2023/24, a total of 101 Deutschlandstipendien were awarded. The university and its students would like to thank all sponsors.

We can see how important the funding is from the many grateful responses from students. The financial support helps students in times of current inflation and seemingly never-ending crises. But the associated recognition of academic achievements and social commitment is also extremely important for students.

The scholarship award ceremony for the current funding period took place in November. The ceremony with musical highlights and valuable contributions, including from a former scholarship holder, was complemented by an atmospheric get-together in the new canteen. Here, sponsors, scholarship holders and those involved in the Deutschlandstipendium Program were able to exchange ideas and bring the evening to a close together.

However, the number of applicants for a Deutschlandstipendium scholarship was once again significantly higher than the number of available scholarships. We would therefore like to encourage all those who are able to do so to continue supporting their scholarship holders or to become a new sponsor.
