The University of Hildesheim supports the publication of open access journal articles through its own publication fund and publishing agreements based on publish-and-read models:

Researchers at the University of Hildesheim can publish scientific articles, papers, research reports, and more independently and free of charge via the HilPub publication server.

The Hildesheim University Press publishes several academic series and journals. If you are interested in publishing in these periodicals, please contact us by email.

German copyright law, pursuant to § 38(4) of the German Copyright Act (UrhG), permits, under certain conditions, the electronic secondary publication of academic articles in journals and anthologies via non-commercial publication servers under an Open Access model.
