Fund publications

The University of Hildesheim supports the publication of scholarly articles in four ways:

1. Publication Fund: Open Access journal articles can be funded by the University of Hildesheim’s Publication Fund with a maximum amount of 1,500 euros. Applications for funding of Open Access monographs and conference proceedings can be submitted to the NiedersachsenOPEN funding fund via the University Library of Hildesheim.
2. Publishing contracts based on publish-and-read models: Under this model, open access publication in journals is funded for authors at the University of Hildesheim. For further information, please contact us by email.
3. HilPub publication server: Here, academic articles can be published free of charge.
4. Hildesheim University Press: Through the Hildesheim University Press, you can publish electronically free of charge and also arrange for paid print editions of your articles for bookstores.

When selecting publishers and publication portals, caution is advised due to predatory publishing. Ensure that your publishers adhere to the standards of good academic practice, particularly when submitting grant applications.
