Doctoral theses and postdoctoral theses produced at the University of Hildesheim must be published in print and/or electronically in accordance with the doctoral and postdoctoral regulations. The Hildesheim University Press is here to assist you:

• For an open-access electronic publication with a publisher of your choice, you can apply for financial support through the University of Hildesheim’s Publication Fund for journal articles or through the NiedersachsenOPEN Publication Fund for monographs and anthologies via the University Library of Hildesheim.
• You can independently and free of charge publish your dissertation and habilitation thesis via the HilPub publication server; a DOI will be generated to ensure a permanent online presence.
• The Hildesheim University Press offers affordable or free options for electronic and print publications.
• You should also inquire about funding opportunities at the dean’s offices of your faculty.
