Kerstin Bach (born 1981) studied Information Management and Information Technology at the University of Hildesheim from 2001 to 2007 with a focus on Operations Research and Knowledge Based Systems. She holds a Bachelor's Degree (August 2004) and a Master's Degree (April 2007) in Information Management and Information Technology and since April 2007 she is working in a PhD position at the University of Hildesheim's Intelligent Information Systems Lab. Her main research interests include Intelligent Information Systems, Case-Based Reasoning, Textual Case-Based Reasoning, Knowledge and Experience Management, Software Agents, Travel Medicine, Knowledge Modeling, as well as Natural Language Processing. Further on Kerstin Bach supports mediScon worldwide in providing trustworthy travel medical information on the WWW.
