Thesis and application form

1. Topics and Supervision

We supervise both internal and external Bachelor's and Master's theses that are thematically related to the teaching and research areas of the department.

Internal theses address questions arising from the current research of the department’s staff. Topics to be assigned are developed in consultation with interested students. Please inform yourself about our research focuses.

External theses are conducted in cooperation with companies and non-university research institutions. Topics may be proposed by students in coordination with an external project partner. To decide whether supervision by our department is possible, a one-page project description must be submitted.

Inquiries are possible at any time; there are no fixed registration periods.

2. Application

If you are interested in writing your thesis with us, please complete the application form and send it together with a current transcript of records via email to: abschlussarbeit(at)bwl.uni-hildesheim.de.

Applications can only be submitted through this channel; individual contact with staff members of the working group is not possible.

After internal coordination within the working group, you will usually receive feedback within one to two weeks.
