DAAD SDG Graduate School „Performing Sustainability“ (2016-2025)

Trilateral Graduate School on Culture and the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals), funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). The Graduate School was a cooperation project between the University of Cape Coast (Ghana), the University of Maiduguri (Nigeria) and the University of Hildesheim (Germany). Through two funding phases (2016-2020, 2021-2025), approximately 70 PhD candidates and M.A. students at the Universities of Maiduguri and Cape Coast have received full stipends for their research in areas including ethnomusicology, cultural policy, theatre, literature and dance studies, as well as peace and conflict studies/political science, philosophy, human geography and translation studies.
