Two worlds apart? Local integration politics in urban and rural municipalities

The project “Two worlds apart? Comparing local integration politics in urban and rural municipalities” analyses institutional change in approximately 100 municipalities in the aftermath of 2015/16. The project focuses in particular on ‘urban-rural-comparisons’ and the divergence/convergence between regions that differ significantly regarding their economic prosperity. Moreover, we analyze the role of societal actors and their co-operation with local administration.

The project runs between September 2017 and December 2019 and is funded by the Robert-Bosch-Stiftung.
