Study Commission (Quality Assurance Committee)
Responsibilities and Composition
The Study Commission of Faculty 1 is responsible for quality assurance in the academic programs. Its responsibilities include, among other things, the further development and design of the academic programs, as well as participation in the drafting of program and examination regulations. It also decides on applications for funding of measures from decentralized study quality funds (SQM). The committee consists of program coordinators and elected student representatives from all academic programs in the faculty. The student members are elected for a term of one year; reelection is possible.
Applications for Study Quality Funding (SQM)
The Study Commission uses funds from the base allocation of the Study Quality Fund to support innovative interdisciplinary and cross-departmental teaching projects within Faculty 1.
Applications may be submitted on an ongoing basis. The Study Commission decides on applications that are submitted to the Dean's Office no later than one week before the respective meeting. Both academic teaching staff and students of Faculty 1 are eligible to apply.
