Faculty 1: Educational and Social Sciences
Faculty 1 is the largest faculty at the University of Hildesheim. With its nine institutes, it brings together disciplines such as Educational Science, Psychology, Social and Organizational Pedagogy, Theology, History, Social Sciences, Primary School Didactics & Elementary Science, and Sports Science. Through interdisciplinary research and practice-oriented teaching, it prepares students for responsible roles in education, society, and academia. The institutes are primarily located on the main campus.
