This year's Autumn School dealt with the topic of "Anthropology of Absence", referring to experiences of emptiness, silence and insecurity, which are recorded and discussed in an interdisciplinary way, especially in their scientific-theoretical dimension with reference to music. In this context, the particular social efficacy of experiences of absence and strategies of withdrawal were inquired into. The Fall School also enabled scholars from the humanities and social sciences to engage in a dialogue with artists and representatives of cultural institutions.
