The Center for World Music (CWM) of the University of Hildesheim
Foundation is an ethnomusicological research
center with an international orientation,
regional commitment and local rootage.

It is an archive and laboratory,
a place for research and study, a meeting place for musicians
and a basis for international encounters and understanding.
