Workshop January 10 - 11, 2022

Focus: Language(s)

The second digital workshop in the project Migration Lab Germany dealt intensively over two days with language(s), accesses, condemnations and discrimination through language as well as potentials of multilingualism. The goal was to describe and penetrate the significance of language(s) for the individual and society in as dense and multi-perspective a manner as possible, especially in light of migration, multilingualism, colonial continuities, and racism. The 15 partner organizations from culture and education were able to present their model projects emerging within the project framework, exchange ideas and discuss them with the speakers.

The Migration Lab Mediathek www.migration-lab.net, curated by the scientific project team, was also launched in January 2022 with the first educational media on the topic. The partner organizations in the network will continue to provide materials from their projects for this purpose.
