This package consists of an introduction and two lessons.
In the first lesson “Terms and definitions” you will get an overview of the following basic topics of intercultural competence:
- Identity
- Culture
- Multi-, inter- and transculturality
- Intercultural competence
- Stereotypes, prejudices and structures of social inequality
- Interculturality and climate change
In the second lesson, “Methods and tools”, you will gain knowledge and recommendations for intercultural encounters:
- Approaches and models
- The cultural dimensions
- Critical incidents
- Multilingualism
- Recommendations
You have the option of completing all packages or just a selection , depending on how much experience you already have or what uncertainties you still have. The input is followed by a short playful test unit so that you can consolidate your knowledge. Of course, you can take individual breaks or complete the training on different days.
