Project description
SOIL CHOIR is a sound and art project that gives the soil a human voice. The project aims to sensitize people to the importance of soil as a finite resource and to show them new ways of acting through a participatory approach.
Imke Ruhrmann, a student on the transdisciplinary Master of Arts and Contemporary Cultures, is currently conducting the project as a one-off workshop. Her aim is to turn it into a longer-term choral project with scientific input. To this end, she is looking for people who have expertise in the fields of environmental education, geology, soil science or similar. expertise. Any help is welcome: Whether advice on the concept, your own input, participation in the choir or something completely different.
If you are interested, please send an email to deinprojekt@uni-hildesheim.de or contact Imke directly at: Soil-Choir@tutamail.com.
