Project idea | FreiDay at the Ernst Reuter School in Pattensen

Project idea | FreiDay at the Ernst Reuter School in PattensenClara Wiese2025-06-10T13:41:17+02:00

Project description

A few years ago, the Ernst Reuter School in Pattensen set out to fundamentally change the school. Many old school structures have been replaced by new learning formats that give pupils the freedom to become active and take action themselves. This is particularly possible on one of these days: FreiDay. On this day, Year 8 pupils have 4 school hours to come up with their own projects within the framework of the 17 SDGs to make the world a little better, fairer, cleaner and friendlier. They are supported in this by the teachers.

If you have an idea that you would like to implement as a mentor with a small group of 13-14-year-old students, please get in touch!

The project would take place weekly on Wednesdays from 9.45 am to 1.10 pm at the Ernst Reuter School or, by arrangement, at an extracurricular learning location. The FreiDay takes place regularly.
The next start would be on/after 23.10.2024, ending either at the end of the lecture period (05.02.2025) or later.

PS: You are welcome to “get a taste” in advance and then decide whether you want to take part πŸ™‚
