Project idea | We are the city

The BIs (BI, Bürgerinitiative = citizens’ initiative) “Bürgerinitiative für eine lebenswerte Marienburger Höhe” and “Itzumer für einen grünen Wasserkamp” are looking forward to hearing from interested students who would like to proactively realise projects in the following areas together with us:

Concrete solutions are proposed for sustainable mobility, urban greening, (political) environmental education, etc. – other suggestions are welcome, more concrete ideas can also be developed together.

It will be worked out how the relevant content, e.g. self-produced information material and solution approaches, can be made accessible to the public, for example by means of guided tours, happenings, information festivals, etc.

In cooperation between students and BIs, proposed solutions are to be implemented on a realistic scale and the possible steps for this are to be learnt along the way. This will provide insights into the stages from idea to concrete measures, as well as into the local conditions and any obstacles and how to deal with them constructively.
