BioLAB Research Vehicle

The basic aim of the project is to refurbish the BioLAB research vehicle so that excursions can be offered and carried out as usual. This includes the main objective: the installation of new batteries, which will make operation possible in the first place. This requires background research into components and financing options. The funding from the Bingo environmental foundation, which was to be obtained as part of this project, should be mentioned here in particular. Further minor work on the electrics and teaching materials should be carried out. The University of Hildesheim can be involved in the BioLAB endeavours to further intensify the collaboration. To this end,
is holding talks with the Geography and Biology departments. The aim is to organise courses that give students the opportunity to teach environmental education under real conditions as part of nature conservation work with school classes at secondary levels I and II.
