Joy Ifeoma Nroli Nwosu Lo-Bamijoko is a highly educated and all-rounder musician with interests covering every area of musical specializations–vocal performance, music education, musicology, broadcasting, choral conducting, and composition. She is one of the most gifted Nigerian female musicians and evidently one of the very few Nigerian female scholars who has distinguished herself as a force to be reckon with back home in Nigeria and internationally. Earning her Ph.D. in Music Education in 1981 from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, U.S.A., made her the second Nigerian woman to receive a doctorate in music.
