The Team of the International Office offers the following service to help and accompany you during your stay at our institution:

• semester programme for international students 2011/12
• German as foreign language for international students:

- our language courses for incomings
- books and other media in the "Infothek" (J 009) to improve your German

• the Hildesheimer Volkshochschule offers additional courses with reduced fees for our students to learn German
• ...and of course you can also take other language courses at the Hildesheimer Sprachenforum (a cooperation between the University of Hildesheim, the HAWK and the Hildesheimer Volkshochschule), which are also reduced...
• "Sprachtandem": We act as middlemen between students with different mother tongues who want to learn a foreign language. If you are interested in a tandem partner, please fill in this form and contact us in room J 008/J010
• Courses in English during the winter semester 2011/12
• we offer a great variety of excursions, cultural events, partys... just visit our page for news
