MA in International Technical Communication: Languages and Technology

The MA in International Technical Communication: Languages and Technology at the University of Hildesheim is aimed at training language experts, in particular translators, for business, administration and international authorities. Graduates will have multilingual communicative competence combined with technical expertise for their chosen professional field.

Surveys have shown that 70% of all texts that are translated have technical contents. For this reason, the MA in International Technical Communication: Languages and Technology focuses on two technical subjects in addition to two foreign languages. The contents of the technical courses (held in German) then form the basis for the technical translation courses, thus integrating the two fields of languages and technology.
