Saskia Kersten
Saskia Kersten studied English Linguistics, German Literature and Sprachlehrforschung at the Ruhr-University Bochum and the University of East Anglia in Norwich. She completed her B.A. in 2000, followed by an M.A. in 2001, her Master thesis being a corpus-based study of English motion verbs. After graduating, Saskia worked in the University Relations department of IBM Germany for two years before returning to the world of academic research. After a year working as wissenschaftliche Hilfskraft in the English Department of the Ruhr-University Bochum, she came to Hildesheim as a wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin to teach English Linguistics. She recently completed her PhD thesis on the mental lexicon and its implications for foreign language teaching. Office Hours during the Semester Break
